The course consists of:
- Theory in the club (SSI Freediving history, physiology and physics of freediving, planning and organization of apnea diving, safety in Freediving)
- Practise in the club (Stretching, relaxation, warm-up)
- Practise in the pool (diving and swimming technique, rescue and assistance with BO and LMC, classes in statics (STA) and dynamics (DYN)).
- Practise in open water (diving and swimming technique, rescue and assistance with BO and LMC, classes in dynamics (CWT)) to a depth of 20 meters. (Maximum depth for students under the age of 15 during all training dives is 12 meters).
Requirements for students:
- Minimum age : 12 . (Maximum depth for students under the age of 15 during all training dives is 12 meters)
- Ability to swim
- One picture
- Equipment: mask, snorkel and fins
Duration:
- Recommended duration (hours) of training: 16-20
• 2 theory sessions
• 1 dynamic apnea session
• 1 static apnea session
• 2 open water sessions
Passing the course:
- Dynamic swimming with double fins over a distance of 30 meters
- Swimming using only hands at a distance of 15 meters
- Removing the mask, going to the surface without a mask from a depth of 10 meters
- Constant Weight Dive (CWT) at least a depth of 10 meters, up to 20 meters
- Rescue technique from a depth of 10 meters
- Going to the surface using only hands from a depth of 10 meters
- Passing the final Freediving Level 1 exam with a score of 80%
- If you do not pass the Open Water, you will receive the FREEDIVING POOL certificate
- If you do not pass the Pool, you will receive the FREEDIVING BASIC certificate
After successful completion of the course:
- International SSI Freediving Level 1 certificate
- People with a Freediving Level 1 license can dive alone with a partner of equal or better training in the environment and up to a depth of 20 meters
- Possibility of continuing SSI Freediving Level 2 or 3
