Upgrade Freediving Level 1

Freediving training which takes place in open water. Intended for those who have Basic, Pool Freediving or an equivalent certificate of another federation (AIDA *; AIDA** POOL; APNOE* - CMAS; LEVEL 1 - Apnea Academy). You will learn the correct techniques and skills for independent and safe training in open water up to 20 meters.

The course consists of:

 - Practise in open water ( Swimming and Diving technique, rescue and help with  BO and LMC, classes in dynamic (CWT)) up to 20 meters. The maximum depth for students under the age of 15 during all training dives is 12 meters.

Requirements for students:

- Minimal age: 12 

- Basic, Pool Freediving Certificate or an equivalent certificate of another federation 

-  Ability to swim

-  One picture

- Equipment: mask, snorkel , fins

- Basic, Pool Freediving Certificate or equivalent certificate of another federation (AIDA *; AIDA** POOL; APNOE* - CMAS; LEVEL 1 - Apnea Academy)

Duration:

-  Recommended duration (hours) of training: 12-14

    •    1 dynamic apnea session (only basic freediver upgrade)

    •    2 open water sessions

Passing the course:

-  Removing the mask, going to the surface without the mask from the depth of  ten (10)  meters.-

Constant Weight Dive (CWT) at least to a depth of ten (10) meters up to a maximum of twenty (20) meters 

- Rescue techniques from the depth of ten (10) meters 

- Going to the surface using only hands form the depth of ten (10) meters  

- Passing the final exam Freediving Level 1 with the result of 80%

After successful completion of the course:

 SSI Freediving Level 1 International Certificate

People with a Freediving Level 1 certificate can dive alone with a partner of equal or better training up to depth of  20 meters 

Possibility to continue SSI Freediving level 2 or 3
